hello there! I am Simon Herdegen and I use system thinking to structure my research based design process in order to create holistic concepts. design thinking helps me to actually make them tangible and get into the doing. I observe and document the now through photography and use it in combination with experiential workshops or speculative design to create new narratives for social-ecological change to establish a shared understanding of our interconnectedness with the natural ecosystem.
